SEND

Charmouth Primary School has high aspirations for all children in our school, including those identified as having an SEN or disability. We strive to ensure all children are supported to be the best they can be; developing as individuals personally, socially and academically and being prepared for their future.

Our experienced SENCO, Mrs Caroline Dare, oversees the implementation of our SEN provision and the implementation of our policy which outlines our commitment to support and nurture those children who need additional support to thrive.  Miss Belinda Farmer will be overseeing our SEND provision across the school.

SEN and Disability Policy

Mrs Dare can be contacted via the school office – office@charmouth.dorset.sch.uk or 01297 560591; Miss Farmer can be contacted in the same way.

We also have an Accessibility Plan to support our development in ensuring that all children and families are included and able to access all that the school offers.
